今日は、タイにおけるガンプラ（ガンダムのプラモデル）市場がどんな感じなのか？をみなさんにお届けしようと思います。

タイのガンプラは在庫が豊富。そして日本の定価と同じくらい！
Gunpla in Thailand is well stocked. And cheaper than the prices in Japan!
結論から言うと、タイで販売されているガンプラは、日本のように価格を釣り上げて販売されていることはありません！
若干、関税分が加算されて販売されていますが、それを考慮しても、日本で販売されているガンプラのように定価を大きく上回った価格で売られてはいませんでした。
In conclusion, Gunpla sold in Thailand are not sold at inflated prices like they are in Japan!
The price of Gunpla sold in Thailand are sold with a small amount of customs duty added.
However, even so, they were not sold for much more than the price of the Gunpla sold in Japan.
私はタイから日本へ帰国することを決めた時、兄YUへのお土産として、ガンプラを買うことにしました。
兄も私も子供の頃からガンダムが大好きでしたから(^^;)
2021年、日本では『機動戦士ガンダム 閃光のハサウェイ』が映画館で上映されましたが、海外では映画館で上映されず、Netflixで配信されていました。Netflixでの配信は、日本よりタイの方が早かったですよ。
When I decided to return to Japan from Thailand, I decided to buy Gunpla as a souvenir for old brother YU. Old brother and I have both loved Gundam since we were kids.
In 2021, “Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway” was shown in theaters in Japan, but overseas, it was not shown in theaters, but was distributed by Netflix. It was earlier in Thailand than in Japan.
ドンキで普通に売られている。人気モデルなら日本で買うより安く買える。 They are usually sold at DON DON DONKI. And you can buy them cheaper than in Japan.
私が住んでいた街は、タイの中心地であるプラトゥーナムで、自宅の近くにドンキがありました。
ドンキには、クシィガンダムのプラモデルが販売されていましたが、価格は2,990バーツでした。（日本円で約10,000円）
「少し高いかな？」と思ったので（それでも日本の価格よりはだいぶん安い）、他のショップでペーネロペーを探すことにしました。
向かったお店は、ウドムスックのガンプラショップです。そこでペーネロペーを見つけました。
The city I lived in was Pratunam, the center of Thailand, and there was a DON DON DONKI nearby. DONKI had a plastic model of XI Gundam for sale, priced at 2,990 Thai baht. I thought “the price was a little high?” so I decided to look for PENELOPE in other stores. So I went to the Gunpla store in Udomsuk and found PENELOPE.
ペーネロペーはバンダイの定価とほぼ同じ価格！ PENELOPE price is about the same as the list price set by BANDAI.
ペーネロペーの価格はなんと2,310バーツです！日本円で約7,800円！ほぼ定価！
日本国内ではあり得ない安さ！
アマゾンでは1万円以上もの価格で売られていますから・・・。
The price is a whopping 2,310 Thai baht! Almost list price! prices are unbelievably low in Japan! On Amazon.co.jp, PENELOPE is selling for over 10,000 Japanese yen!

私は帰国する前に、このペーネロペーをEMSで兄に送ってあげました。
兄は組み立て途中で、少しだけつまづいていましたが、私が帰国した後に一緒に組み立てた結果、ペーネロペーを完成させることができました。
ちなみに、兄も私もガンプラを塗装するほど凝り性ではありません(^^;)
I sent this PENELOPE to my brother by EMS before I left Thailand. Old brother found the assembly a bit difficult, but after assembling it with me, he was able to complete everything. Neither my brother nor I paint our Gunpla.
希少価値の高いガンプラを買うなら、海外旅行に行った時に買うがお勧め。
If you're looking to buy Gunpla, I recommend you take a trip to Thailand.
ペーネロペーは、形状が複雑すぎるので、映画を観てもそのディテールがわかり辛いのですが、プラモデルなら、じっくり確認することができるで嬉しいです。カッコ良いですね、ペーネロペー。
PENELOPE’s shape is so complex that it’s hard to see the details in the movie. With plastic models, it’s nice to be able to see the complexity of the shapes. It’s cool, PENELOPE.
もし、ガンプラが好きな方がタイへ旅行へ行くなら、お土産にガンプラを買うことをお勧めします！
日本国内で希少価値が高いモデルであれば、日本で買うより安く買うことができますよ！
If you are a fan of Gunpla and you are going on a trip to Thailand, I suggest you buy some Gunpla as souvenirs! It’s so much cheaper than buying it in Japan!
