私は2018年10月から2020年4月までマレーシアのアラダマンサラに住んでいました。
なぜ、私がマレーシアに住んでいたのかというと、人生で一度は海外で働いてみたかったからです。
まず先に結論から言いますと、マレーシアでの生活は、楽しかったです(^^)

I lived in Aradamansara, Malaysia from October 2018 to April 2020.
The reason why I was living in Malaysia is because I wanted to work abroad at least once in my life.
In conclusion, I enjoyed my time in Malaysia 🙂
私は日本人として、自分の将来を考えた際、英語を話すスキルが必要だと考え、2018年9月までの1年半、世界的に有名な観光地のアルバイトスタッフとして、独学で勉強した英語を話しながら働いていました。
その仕事はとても楽しかったのですが、毎日私が話す英語は、いつも同じような言葉でした。
なので、もし私が転職する場合、次は海外に行こうと決めていました。
As a Japanese, I thought that I needed English speaking skills when I thought about my future, so for a year and a half until September 2018, I worked as a part-time staff member at a world-famous tourist attraction, speaking the English I had learned on my own.
I enjoyed that job very much, but every day the English I spoke was always the same.
So I had decided that if I were to change jobs, my next move would be overseas.
そして、私がその職場を退職しようと決めた時、マレーシアのコールセンターの仕事をリクナビNEXTで見つけました。
私はいくつかの企業に応募しましたが、面接の連絡があったのが、そのマレーシアの企業でした。
And when I decided to leave that workplace, I found a call center job in Malaysia on RIKUNAVI-NEXT.
I applied to several companies, but it was the Malaysian company that contacted me for an interview.
私がそのマレーシアの企業へ入社しようと思った理由は、
The reasons why I decided to join this Malaysian company were…
①世界的に有名なECサイトのコールセンターであること。
②マレーシアでは英語を公用語としていること。
③会社の近くに多くの日本人が住んでいること。
(1) It was a call center for a world-famous e-commerce site.
(2) English is the official language in Malaysia.
(3) There are many Japanese people living near the company.
でした。
私は、電話で日本人の面接官とのインタビューを終え、後日、その会社に入社するためにマレーシアへ渡航しました。
その企業は日本人の受け入れに慣れていたし、たくさんの日本人の同僚がいたので、私は初めての海外生活に対して、大きな不安を感じませんでした。
I finished my interview with a Japanese interviewer over the phone and later traveled to Malaysia to join that company.
The company was accustomed to accepting Japanese people and I had many Japanese colleagues, so I didn’t feel too anxious about my first time living abroad.
しかし、マレーシアの生活は良いことばかりではありませんでした。
